Definition:

Jubars only share 98.8% DNA with humans. They are less closely related to humans than chimpanzees but more closely related than gorillas. This fact, despite Jubars’ similarity to humans, fueled much controversy and discrimination.

The most common type, Class 1 Jubars appear human with the exception of mild physical differences, the most prominent being irises that are marbled with multiple colors.

Class 2 Jubars are capable of subtle physical changes to become indistinguishable from humans.

Large in stature, Class 3 Jubars appear human but can shape-shift within the limit of their mass. This class unfortunately has the greatest risk of any demographic, human or Jubar, for violent psychopathy, with a tendency to focus malignant behavior on humans.

Extinct since the last war, Class 4’s could shape-shift without regard for mass. The wartime utilization of these individuals likely helped infix widespread fear of Jubars with full body shape-shifting abilities.
