Eager interest replaced Bjorn’s previous sense of pause. “What kind of tournament is it?”

Clementine’s heart-shaped face lit up. “Basketball,” she said. “Men, women’s and mixed teams. It’ll be running Tuesday through Sunday of this coming week. Later afternoons and evenings during the week and all day on the weekend so as not to discourage teams with working adults.” She considered his height in a new light. “Do you play?”

Bjorn handed her the envelope before he forgot about it. “I do but if you have volunteer registration and event information, that would be awesome. I had no idea this place was here.”

Roar exchanged looks with Clementine who nearly shrieked like a fan-girl.

“Numinous daaaay!” She sang and, whirling happily, led the way. “Come with me, the materials are in Sherry’s office.”
