If the captain approves of him, then maybe I’ve been overreacting. Bjorn withdrew car keys. “We’ll see how this goes. I’m parked over here.”
Roar didn’t follow him. “I have my own vehicle. Who’s the next stop?”
After a pause, Bjorn went to the truck, with Roar lingering at a distance, and opened the drivers’ side door to consult a stapled list.
Glassman had painted Roar as a vicious fugitive who defied authority and posed a threat to the public. While research suggested the assessment could be valid, and while Bjorn’s initial meeting with Roar had been rife with taunting glances, Roar had thus far been harmless.
Taunts were enough to rile Glassman though.
Bjorn scowled at the list. Maybe Grigol’s full of crap. “The Mabry Fitness Complex.”
“That’s ten minutes away. Cool.” Flashing a smile, Roar jogged across the aisle toward a small electric blue sedan. “See you there!”
