Definition:

Roar lowered his eyes. I’ve never been on good terms with a Huntsman. Heck, I wish … “Maybe if I help the new guy with the other Jubars, because they’re gonna be as terrified of him as they are of Glassman…”

Since being rated Class 3 as an adolescent, Roar became painfully attuned to the reactions of those who knew what he was; and local Huntsmen flaunted their desire to winnow their Jubars by exactly one Class 3. 

“It’d be awesome if he didn’t mind me being alive. And If things go well, then maybe Mr. Hot-Guy-What’s-His-Face–.”

Zaida choked, spewing bits, and Susan said, grinning, “Can we please call him that?”

Eyes watering, Zaida blurted through a full mouth, “Yeth.” 

Roar frowned. What’s his name again? “Rackham… Bjorn? Sergeant!” 

Susan was impressed. “You said his name backwards.” 

Zaida wasn’t. “His name backwards is Guy Hot Mr.”  

“…I hope he does well.”
